Rebecca Rodriguez Alonzo, HCCP
Director of Client Services
Rebecca is the Director of Client Services for Alpha Barnes. In this role, Ms. Alonzo is responsible for the strategic support of Alpha Barnes clients and investors, offering extensive asset analysis and reporting, strategic recommendations for value growth and new and additional business model development. She serves as an essential liaison between clients, suppliers and the Alpha Barnes’ Executive, Business Development and Accounting teams. The firm continues to grow both its statistical footprint and status as a leading operator of affordable housing and a proven asset value-enhancer.
Ms. Alonzo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from The University of Texas, Arlington. She began her career in property management in 1998. Her Property Management involvement includes on-site operations, project management, business development, and multi-family housing marketplace. With a specialty in contract administration, Rebecca is able to oversee the smooth transition of property acquisitions, due diligences and take over management, including working closely with HUD, TDHCA, and the local Housing Authorities. Ms. Alonzo joined Alpha Barnes in mid-2017 and has intentionally grown her knowledge and experience with HUD and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) requirements, making her invaluable to clients and staff members.
As a 16-year veteran of the USAFR, Rebecca brings with her a steadfast work ethic and organizational skills essential to serving our country. Her attention to detail, excellent rapport-building skills and the vitality and energy she brings to each client engagement is evident in her everyday interactions.
Ms. Alonzo is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP).
